Setting: Imperial Space for Forlorn Stars

This is a collection of information about the Imperial Space setting for the Forlorn Stars game.

Places - Forlorn Stars: Imperial Space

Anvil Point: A space station which houses a postal service facility.

Aries system: A twin star system.

Cook Grande system: A system.

Festung 23: A space station in the Cook Grande system.

Kokkinatmow: A gas giant with a reddish-orange glow.

Mouss: A planet with underground seas, caves filled with water.

Ortelga system: A star system.

Ortelga ring: A ring of ancient origin around the sun. It is many million years old, most of it fell apart, but it still orbits the sun of the system.

Sant Mikal: A planet.

Shaik: A white planet with red clouds.

Tarukk Pisci: A planet.

Tzadz: High gravity planet.

Vesuv's Forge: A ringed planet with heavy volcanic activity. The place of the Hammer Games. There are several mines and refineries. They use floating towers to protect the equipment. The population lives in housing tubes. There is a volcano hospital.

At the Hammer Games, a miner insurrection happened that was solved by the Tiger Sharks marine division from the St. Peter the Great Imperial frigate. For more information, read: Vesuv's Forge Insurrection

Wishi: A planet with black, towering forests.

 

Draconis system

Draconis Beta: The second planet of the Draconis system. Most of the population of Salamander took refuge here after the Salamander infestation.

Draconis Gamma: The third planet of the Draconis system. An orange coloured, hot gas planet. It has a moon, called Salamander.

Salamander: The moon of Draconis Gamma. During the Salamander infestation, before the Imperial intervention, the population was quickly evacuated to Draconis Beta, and Gecko Station. Knights arrived from House Aquilae, and aided by the Imperial Military, they started to suppress the aliens and clean up the infestation.

Minos District: An area on Salamander, owned by House Minos, a minor noble house.

Princess Hara Bay: The starport of the Minos District.

Gecko Station: Space station around Salamander, the loading port of the moon. Because of the Salamander infestation, part of the population of Salamander was evacuated here. After a long quarantine, Gecko Station was considered clean of infection, so they opened it again for the interstellar trade.

Organisations - Forlorn Stars: Imperial Space

Imperial Knights: Space Knights who pledge their loyalty to the order of Imperial Knights.

Imperial Marines: Warriors of the Imperium that serve in the Imperial Navy.

Tiger Sharks: An Imperial marine division. Their uniform is yellow and blue. They use robot hounds.

Imperium: The coalition of human noble houses, ruled by the Imperial Council.

REX 1 Security: Security company. Their enforcers are lead by Centurions. They have a contract with the St. Eris World Workshop. They guard the postal service facility at Anvil Point.

Space Knights: Warriors of great wealth. Most of them belong to the ranks of one of the noble houses of the Imperium. They can afford the the most effective technology that can be brought to battle. They often have enhanced biofeedback. Their Knight suit is a power armour, and usually have life support systems built into it.

St. Eris World Workshop: A company, terraforming enterprise. Has interests on Vesuv's Forge.

House Aquilae: Noble house.

House Minos: Minor noble house. Princess Hara Minos was a famous member of the house.

Hammer Games: Annual weapon and munitions market and jousting competition held on the ringed planet of Vesuv's Forge.

Incidents - Forlorn Stars: Imperial Space

The Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay: Raiders attacked an abandoned factory of House Minos, at Princess Hara Bay on Salamander. Imperial forces from the Nexus Spear intervaned but had to retreat due to losses.

The rescue of Daniele Thomassen: During the Vesuv's Forge Insurrection, field medic Daniele Thomassen got abducted by locals. The marines of Nexus Spear had to fight the REX 1 security forces to get her back.

The Salamander infestation: There was an alien infestation on Salamander, the moon of Draconis Gamma. Before the Imperial intervention, the population was quickly evacuated to Draconis Beta, and Gecko Station, the loading port of Salamander. Knights arrived from House Aquilae, and aided by the Imperial Military, they started to suppress the aliens and clean up the infestation.

The Vesuv's Forge Insurrection: Miners of the St. Eris World Workshop demanded better wages. Their demonstrations got out of hand when they received a cache of weapons from rebel smugglers during one of the Hammer Games. The REX 1 security enforcers couldn't deal with the insurrection, so the Tiger Shark Imperial marine division had to intervene and suppress the insurrection.

Technology - Forlorn Stars: Imperial Space

Heater: A flamer device that can heat things using hot flames. It can be modified to be a long range flamethrower with the addition of the right fuel.

Jump jet: A device that allows the wearer to jump higher, longer or even to fly short distances.

Landcar: A wheeled land vehicle.

Phasing field: When switched on, it allows the wearer to move through solid matter. It also distorts the appearance of the wearer, make it harder to target it.

Spaceship: A flying vehicle, able to travel between planets.

Starship: A spaceship, able to cross interstellar distances.

Robots

Cargo robot: Heavy duty robot, able to haul heavy weights.

Robot hound: A quadruped robot. Used to carry equipment. It can be programmed to be used in combat.

Bridget de Aries: Human female. The captain of the Nexus Spear.

Nexus Spear personnel - Imperial marines

Daniele Thomassen: Human female marine field medic.

Predrag Fedak: Human male marine sergeant. Leader of a recon commando. Took part in the rescue of Daniele Thomassen, where he fell in battle. Current status unknown.

Agim Gyerguy Kokkinatmow: Human male marine captain. Took part in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, had to retreat.

Agostinho Mohnhaupt: Human male marine. Took part in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, where he fell in battle, and lost one of his arm, replaced with a bionical one.

Yasin Brinnand-Nielsen: Human male assault marine. Took part in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, had to retreat.

Prima Buffini: Human female marine. Took part in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, where she fell in battle, and got weaker in physical activities due to the extensive internal injuries. She has a hard time even breathing.

Damyan MacLean: Human male marine. Took part in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, where he fell in battle, and received nerve damage to the spine, causing frequent tremors.

Joan Ducharme: Human male marine sniper. Took part in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, where he fell in battle, but got away without remaining injuries.

Yorge Weber: Human male marine sergeant. Took part in the rescue of Daniele Thomassen.

Ella Noir: Human female marine sergeant. Took part in the rescue of Daniele Thomassen.

Nexus Spear personnel - Imperial Knights

Count Erwin von Toth: Human male Imperial Knight. Took part in the rescue of Daniele Thomassen, where he Fell in battle, but survived.

Ianus "Le Renard" de Lys: Human male Imperial Knight from the de Lys noble house. His mother came from the Refinado noble house. Took part in the rescue of Daniele Thomassen, where he Fell in battle, but survived.

Baroness Luminosa Geistwald: Human female Imperial Knight. Took part in the rescue of Daniele Thomassen, where she fell in battle, but survived, although lost both of her legs due to the grievious wounds received from the breacher missiles that took her out.

REX 1 Security personnel

Jens Gross: Human male security enforcer sergeant. Took part in the firefight against Imperial marines on Vesuv's Forge, where he fell in battle. Deceased. His family got into indentured slavery as a fine for his crimes against the Imperium.

Lew Hossky: Human male security enforcer centurion. As the officer of Sergeant Gross, who firefight against Imperial marines on Vesuv's Forge, he got demoted due to the poor indoctrination of his subjects, and moved to the postal service facility at Anvil Point.

Tiger Sharks Imperial marine division

Bakku: Human male marine sergeant. Took part in the suppression of the Vesuv's Forge Insurrection. Fell in battle, status unknown.

Bora: Human female marine. Took part in the suppression of the Vesuv's Forge Insurrection. Fell in battle, status unknown.

Thorgrim: Human male marine. Took part in the suppression of the Vesuv's Forge Insurrection.

Yakubsen: Human male tech-marine. Took part in the suppression of the Vesuv's Forge Insurrection.

Pirates of Darling crew

Captain Darling: Human male raider captain. Born in the Ortelga ring. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay.

Petra Samnis-Brecht: Human female pilot. Born on Sant Mikal.

Henricus Bernard Rameckers: Human male technician, Born on the Festung 23 station. He is extremely short. When somebody calls him, he prefers his full name to be adressed. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay.

Magnet Chick: Reprogrammed cargo loader robot, armed with an assault cannon. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay, where it fell in battle. Even though the pirates of Darling carefully collected every single piece they could find from Magnet Chick, their technician, Henricus Bernard Rameckers couldn't repair the extensive damage, taking the robot out of commission.

Naughty-1: Reprogrammed cargo loader robot, armed with an assault cannon. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay.

Rouk: Human male hulk pirate. Born on Tzadz. Cyborg, with built-in phasing field. Likes to carry grenades and grenade launchers. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay.

Sharik Aslan: Human male pirate. Born on Wishi. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay.

Stallion Vicious: Human male pirate. Born on Tarukk Pisci. Raided the moon in the Minos Factory incident at Princess Hara Bay.

Monsieur Huq: Gaunt male pirate.

During Imperial intervention the original owner doesn't have jurisdiction over the land, until the incident is resolved.
