Review - M577 Armoured Personnel Carrier (Galactic Resin Models 1:35) miniature vehicle from Galactic Resin Models
The model looks static - if you build it, the turrets are in a fixed position, unless you use self-adhesive glue or magnetise the model.
The doors won't open. As the chassis seems like a solid resin piece, it would require a lot of cutting and carving to make it look good.
The model is produced in two variants: Standard Edition, and the Limited Edition.
Standard Edition
This is a mostly resin model.
The model looks static - if you build it, the turrets are in a fixed position, unless you use self-adhesive glue or magnetise the model. It looks like you might be able to attach the wheels without glueing them in place, allowing you to turn them if you wish.
The doors won't open, but they come as separate pieces, so at least you don't have to cut them off from the main body. However, as the chassis seems like a solid resin piece, it would still require a lot of carving to make it look good.
Some of the detailing is made with brass rods, I assume that the rods are included in the set.
Polystyrene is also listed among the list of materials, but I'm not sure what's made of that.
The windshield is a solid piece, but it's separate. So if you'd like to add a transparent window, you can cut the windows from the frame, and replace them easily. And even if you don't want to replace it, it's easier to pain it separately, so I welcome this.
Limited Edition
It's based on the Standard Edition, but there are rubber tires included you can put on the wheels. A suspension mechanism for the wheels is also included, allowing you to turn all four wheels in a direction you'd like to.
