Thunderhawk Gunship #1 miniature vehicle set

"Originally designed for a 1997 Games Day exhibit, they were released through UK and then, in April 1998, US mail order. These extremely heavy, all-metal, models came in a felt-lined, wooden box and were individually numbered."

The metal Thunderhawk Gunship model comes in a wooden box, with decals and a numbered certificate. From what I've heard, certificates between #40.001 to #40.300 indicate the first run. Certificates above #40.300 indicate the second production run, that came in inferior boxes, and often without the decal set. The second run is probably numbered up to #40.500.

It was first shown on Games Day 1997 (1997.09.28), in Birmingham.
