Review - Pariah Nexus game mat miniature scenery for Warhammer 40,000 from Games Workshop
The Pariah Nexus game board is a double sided cardboard mat that is folded twice.
If it is similar to previous Kill Team boards, the surface is somewhat shiny, but I think it's unavoidable, unless you use matte varnish to remove the shine.
If it is similar to previous Kill Team boards, the mat stays flat. Some people reported that their gaming boards have arrived warped. I hope they will flatten with time, as a warped board will make play very hard due to the light models and small tokens.
If it is similar to previous Games Workshop boards, the surface is prone to getting scraped or dented. It's probably not water resistant.
Both sides depict a Necron tomb complex. The space is confined by if you count the depicted walls as blocking features. Infantry can move around, Dreadnoughts will probably also fit through in some places, but I don't think Rhinos or larger vehicles could be used here efficiently.
There are some features in some areas (circular lights, beams of light) that can be used as objectives, in-game effects, or as parts of the scenery if you wish. There are no other kinds of scenery depected, outside of the walls.

Possible uses
Both sides allow you to put multiples of the mat together for a continuous gaming area. For more variety, you can even flip some of them. The orange side probably looks better that way, but the green side also works fine. However, you can't mix the two sides seamlessly, unless you want to depict different areas.
