Review - Realmscape: Ghurish Expanse cardboard game mat miniature scenery for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar from Games Workshop

The Realmscape: Ghurish Expanse game board is a double sided cardboard mat that is folded twice? or four times?.

If it is similar to previous Games Workshop boards, the surface is somewhat shiny, but I think it's unavoidable, unless you use matte varnish to remove the shine.

If it is similar to previous Games Workshop boards, the mat stays flat. Some people reported that their gaming boards have arrived warped. I hope they will flatten with time, as a warped board will make play very hard due to the light models and small tokens.

If it is similar to previous Games Workshop boards, the surface is prone to getting scraped or dented. It's probably not water resistant.

Both sides depict a featureless terrain. One side is a wasteland, the other side is a swamp.

Possible uses

Both sides allow you to put multiples of the mat together for a continuous gaming area.
