Review (spoiler-free) - Palm Springs, movie (2020)

I've heard about the movie, and I knew the basic premise. As I was afraid that it will be boring, it took me a while to get enough recommendation to finally watch the trailer, although I did that because I was not interested in the movie, as I try to avoid trailers because of the spoilers. However, the trailer and the recommendations were enough for me to try the movie, so I finally gave in and watched it. I hoped it will be some romantic comedy with the addition of time travel.

The Palm Springs movie is about a man trying to seduce a woman, while they are in an endless time loop.

My experience

I was satisfied with Palm Springs (2020). I happen to like stories with well-thought, logical plots, and Palm Springs delivered just that.

Rating: Good (2+ out of 3 points). Palm Springs is a well-made film.

Enjoyment: Good (2+ out of 3 points). Palm Springs is interesting and fun, I liked it.

Rewatchability: Average. While it's mostly the surprise of the story that makes you feel interested, the movie has a certain charm that lends it for multiple watchings if you liked it.

Chance of watching it again: There's a chance. Now that I know the story, there's probably no need to watch it again, but I liked it enough that I might watch it in the right circumstances.

Chance of watching a sequel: I'm not sure it can be applied to this movie, but I'd sure like to watch a similar film from the creators.
