If you'd like to be surprised by the Body at Brighton Rock film, I don't recommend you to watch the trailer beyond 1:12, because it starts to give away parts of the plot. It basically provides a summary of the film, up to the ending scene, it's only the very end we are not shown.

It's about a rookie park ranger getting into an unexpected situation that's more than she was prepared to handle. The Body at Brighton Rock film is watchable, but I only recommend it to dedicated fans of the genre.

Review (spoiler-free) - Body at Brighton Rock, movie (2019)
I don't know anything about this movie beyond the fact that somebody recommended it to me. I don't even know the genre, but based on the title, I assume it's going to be a thriller. I didn't watch the trailer.
The Body at Brighton Rock movie is about a rookie park ranger getting into an unexpected situation that's more than she was prepared to handle.
The basis of the story is interesting, but I feel that the creators didn't get the most out of the potential situation. The consistency is a little off, there are often comedic elements inserted in otherwise serious scenes, that work against the theme. There are no character arcs. I didn't find major logical problems.
The tension is prepared in advance. There are some jump scares.
The cinematography is okay. There were some strange shots, but I assume those were there to raise the tension. The vistas look good. There are many extreme close-ups, but there are also some nice wide shots of the location.
The characters are okay, they are developed well enough to care for them. The actors were fine. The protagonist girl looks good enough to spend most of the runtime watching her.
The music (by The Gifted) was okay.
Body at Brighton Rock is a watchable wilderness survival thriller, that I think only dedicated fans of the genre would enjoy.
My experience
I was not entirely satisfied with Body at Brighton Rock (2019). I prefer stories with more interesting plots, or having some twists, and Body at Brighton Rock couldn't deliver that.
Rating: Average (2 out of 3 points). Body at Brighton Rock is a watchable film, but it is still lacking in many points.
Enjoyment: Average (2 out of 3 points). Body at Brighton Rock had some nice moments, but I felt it's too long.
Rewatchability: Average. If you liked it for the first watching, you might like further times.
Chance of watching it again: Very low. Watching the girl stumbling in the woods was cute, but watching it once was enough for me.
Chance of watching a sequel: I'd be cautious if they'd make a sequel to Body at Brighton Rock, as this was a self contained story.

Will you enjoy this?
If you like stories set in forests, you might like Body at Brighton Rock.
If you prefer horror or action thriller movies, you might like the film, but there are not many action scenes or scary scenes in the Body at Brighton Rock movie.
If you like jump scare ghost movies, you might enjoy this.
If you'd like to get comedic moments in your movies, Body at Brighton Rock has plenty of those.
If you can get through the first half hour of the movie still interested, the rest of Body at Brighton Rock will be similar.
If you prefer visuals over story, there are some nice vistas throughout the movie, although I'm not sure it's worth watching it just for those.
If you are disturbed by watching a dead body for a significant amount of time, this movie is not for you.
If you hate comedy, there are many humorous scenes that you might dislike.
If you hate zombie movies, there are some scenes that feature the living dead, but it's not the focus of the story.
Watching for plot points
If you are interested in "lost in the woods" stories, I think it's worth watching the Body at Brighton Rock movie for the plot points.
Should you watch this on your own screen at home, or is it worth going to the cinema?
I think it wouldn't really matter, but the wide scenic shots might look better if you watch it in cinema.

Review with spoilers - Body at Brighton Rock, movie (2019)
I mostly liked the Body at Brighton Rock movie, I just felt that it's longer than it should be.
The story starts as a lighthearted movie, with comedic moments. However, as the story progresses, and the tension is built up for being a survival thriller, the humorous elements continue, undermining the serious tone that was prepared.
Cover
Some of the covers of the movie are okay, but they all try to make the viewer think that it's going to be a "man vs bear" scenario, even though it's not.
The trailer
The beginning of the trailer is okay, then it starts to spoils major parts of the movie.
If you prefer spoilers, it's a great trailer for the Body at Brighton Rock film. If you prefer to avoid spoilers, it will ruin the movie for you.
Promise of the first scene
There's a woman running in a forest, intercut with scenes of park rangers debriefing about the coming weather. I have no clue where will this lead.
Execution: Well, this particular start didn't really lead anywhere. So I'm not satisfied with the promise.

Plot summary / Synopsis
A rookie park guide girl (Karina Fontes as Wendy) switches a task with one of the veterans, so she could prove herself.
She quickly gets lost, and she finds a dead body of a man.
She is able to reach the HQ, and they promise to go and find her next morning. The contact is lost as her radio depleted its power.
She finds the tent of the dead man, and grabs some supplies. She also finds a large sack hanging nearby.
She meets with a man (Casey Adams as Red), who offers to help her, but she sends him away.
When she gets back to the tent to grab a sleeping bag, she finds that the large sack has fallen to the ground, and there's an open, empty cage in it.
At night, she starts to have hallucinations.
When she tries to climb back to the top of the hill, so the rescue team can find him, the man appears again, and tries to stop her. She kicks him down, and he falls from the cliff.
Later, she is attacked by a bear, but the arriving rescue team chases the bear away.
They identify the dead body, who turns out to be the man he met in the woods, and whom he kicked to his death. The coroner says he was killed by a bear attack.
The setting
Contemporary Earth, probably 2019.
There are no out of ordinary elements, unless you consider it the reality that the man she had seen was the man who was dead already.

Analysis of the story - Body at Brighton Rock, movie (2019)
I mostly liked the story, I didn't find logical problems that would have prevented me from enjoying Body at Brighton Rock.
The message of the story
I'm not sure there's one. "Don't go alone into the woods"?
The structure of the story
The scenes of the Body at Brighton Rock film are played in sequence, following the same storyline.
There's no single viewpoint character, although we see most of the plot through Wendy.
It has the usual arc of the dramatic structure - introduction, action, resolution.
Things I liked
- I liked the vistas.
- I liked the main protagonist, Wendy.
Problematic elements
Unanswered questions
- What was in the empty cage, that fell?
* * *
Possibilities of improvement
- Cut it a lot shorter, to keep up the tension.
- The meeting with Davey in the woods is unnecessary, just cut it out.
- Cut the humorous parts after Wendy found the body. The comedy destroys the tension.
- The addition of the bear attack felt forced for me. I'd rather cut it out.
- It might make the story better if we'd see the story only through Wendy's eyes, cutting other viewpoints out.
How it could have been better?
* * *
How does it compare to the other works of the creators?
I haven't seen any other works of the writer / director (Roxanne Benjamin). This movie was promising, so I'm interested in her further feature films.

Rescue mission: The attacker is a creature that hunts the defender. The attacker sets up the playing area, and deploys 6 numbered tokens as entry points anywhere on the playing area, outside of the middle third. The defender sets up an unarmed model.anywhere in the middle third. At the beginning of every turn, the defender rolls a d6 for reinforcements. On a 1, armed models can be deployed anywhere on the edge of the playing area. At the beginning of every turn, the attacker also rolls a d6. The roll indicates which entry point can the creature use in that turn - if the player decides, the creature can appear on the entry point, and it can act from the next turn. The defender wins if the unarmed model escapes the playing area. The attacker wins if they defeat more than half of the attackers, or defeat the unarmed model before the reinforcements arrive.
Unarmed group (harder for the attacker): There's not only one model, but multiple. They all need to reach the edge of the playing area to escape.
Creature group (harder for the defender): There's not a single big creature, but multiple smaller ones. At the beginning of the turn, the attacker can enter one model, but in consecutive turns, multiple creatures can enter the game. This allows the attacker to use more strategy.
