Showdown in Bartertown #1
Although it is forbidden bx the order of the Voivod for the members of the armies staying in Bartertown to start a fight among themselves, this rule is not followed by every soldier. When the Sektur mercenary company named Swords of Garak caught news that members of the orc imperial legion, the Golden Region, were in town, they decided to take this opportunity to cut them down.
Terrain rules: Because the event happens at night, the light zones show areas that are lit by torches, providing a clear line of sight. Targets in the shadow zones can be targeted with a subtraction. The walls printed on the scenery count as fences, which provide cover but can be climbed over. The walls of buildings cannot be climbed, but they can be climbed via the ladders on their side.
Groups
Swords of Garak: 1x soldier leader in armour, with sword and shield, 4x veteran soldier in armour, with sword and shield
Golden Legion: 1x orc legionary, in full plate armour, with two-handed weapon and shield. The shield doesn't show up on the miniature as accessory, but the forearm guard has a shield-like design that lends itselft to be used as a shield.

After some late-night fun, the orc Yash, a member of the Golden Legion, stepped out of the Camel Stomper and headed for his inn when he heard the clinging of metal. Hiding behind the building of the pub, some armed men watched him. Although he did not recognize them based on their uniform, due to the weapons in their hands, he suspected hostile intentions.
Since Yash has learned since childhood that "the best defense is a good offense," he started to rush towards the Sektur mercenaries to surprise them and prevent them from launching an organized attack. The mercenaries were really surprised, but they also started to rush and met with the orc halfway, in front of the pub. The legionary knew exactly that the swords of mercenaries were almost ineffective against his armor, so he hurled himself into the battle against the more numerous foes.
Alkony Wargame system: The distance of the attack determines how much benefit is given to the attack. The smaller the distance, the less it will be. The basic strength of the sword is not enough to pass through the legionary's plate armour, but if the legionary is shaken during the fight or attacked from the flank, it might be vulnerable.
The mercenaries surrounded the orc in all directions, but even so, the legionary had been bashed by them for a long time. With their coordinated attacks, they managed to prevent the legionary to injure any of the mercenaries, but even though they hit the legionary with almost every strike, when they succeded in a hit that was not stopped by his armor, the orc just clenched his teeth and continued to fight persistently. After a long time, he finally got enough pummeling to collapse.
Kestril, the Golden Toned, the leader of the Sektur mercenaries, recorded the first success of the Swords of Garak in the orc hunt.
Alkony Wargame system: The orc has spent most of its time in a shaken state due to the hits. It meant that he cannot perform any actions, as his activations were wasted by spending them with removing the shaken counter. That way he didn't get a chance to attack. The mercenaries received modifiers for support because they were in base contact, so almost all of their attacks was a hit.
Aftermath: Yash survived the battle and recovered from his injuries after he was captured by the Sekturs.

Evaluation of the game
Golden Legion: Trying to rush to mercenaries was a dumb thing to try. I was so sure that the superiority of the armor and the weapon would lead to victory. Although not heroic, I should have hidden behind a fence, perhaps retreat into the gate of the pub, then the mercenaries wouldn't have been able to assault me so easily.
Swords of Garak: I knew that an orc legionary would be a tough opponent, but I wasn't expecting him to pull it through four turns of combat, while he wasn't even able to use his defenses. I had some doubts about it in the second round, but since leaving the fight was no longer feasible, my mercenaries had to stay until the orc had been defeated.
