Review - Ruined Large Factory miniature scenery from Terrains4Games

The copy I have looks similar to the one on the website, but the details are different. I have seen some version of this set on other review sites, and I thought they might have modified their own copy, but now I'm not so sure of that.

The base: The base makes the walls more stabile, but the roof frames are also essential. Even if you'd like to remove the base, leave a thin frame to support the insides of the walls.

The roof: There are frames to support a roof, but there is no sign of one. It would be easy however to add some damaged flat roof to it. I can also imagine it had a glass roof that was shattered, so you could throw around a couple of transparent pieces to represent this.

Assembling the model

I think it would be hard to paint the model after assembly, so I painted the insides of the walls before gluing them together. I also painted the roof support frames before attaching them to the walls.

It's very easy to build the model. You just glue the edges of the walls, push them together. After you've finished gluing the walls, you add the roof support frames. Depending on the setting time of the glue you use, you might need to tie the walls, or use a rubber band to hold the whole thing together.
