The Gothic Ruined Sanctuary with columns miniature scenery from Terrains4Games is a ruin of a 1/56-1/64 scale (28mm/32mm scale) gothic style building.
It is based on the designs of Gothic Ruin G, but the walls and supports are more ruined, and there are extra columns.

The base: The base makes the walls more stabile, but it's not essential. The walls will stand even without the base. However, the base provides the stand for all those columns, and without them it wouldn't look this interesting. You might glue those columns on their own bases, though.
Assembling the model
Removing the pieces from the MDF sheets is easy, the pieces were cut through with the laser cutter, most of them I could just punch out by hand.
It's easy to build the model, if you know what you are doing. You just glue the edges of the walls, push them together, and repeat it for the inserts. However, as there are no instructions, you might need some trial and error with the assembly (or you can use my assembly instructions).
The walls are made up by two layers, to add more dimension to the building. These are called "second generation" sets by Terrains4Games. As you need to glue those layers together, it's going to eat up glue quickly.
If you paint with a spray (either can or airbrush), painting will be easy even after assembly. However, if you wish to paint with a brush, you should consider painting at least parts of the pieces before gluing them together, because several parts will become hard to reach.
I also recomend that you paint the columns before gluing them to the base. If you'd like to paint them into a lighter colour, you might also need to use a primer on them to cover the laser burn marks, or wash them, so the burnt colour comes off. Otherwise the dark parts might show through thin layers of paint. If you'd like to use a dark paint, you can just leave them so.
The base: Glue the insert on it. I think you can choose either way to do it.
Short sides: You get two short sides, that could go to either sides of the building. The second layers can go on both sides - there is an intended pairing, and an alternative one, but they differ only slightly, so you could use them both ways.

Long sides: One of the long sides has a damaged middle - the intended insert layer for that is the one that also has a damaged middle. However, if you use the other insert, that will also look okay. The corners of the long sides match only one corner of the short sides, so they are not interchangable. Glue them accordingly, or get ready to modify the building by cutting the walls or adding extra rubble. The same is also true if you create the alternative builds by adding the layer that was created for the other wall.

Arches: Pair and glue them together, with the etched sides outside. There are 5 pieces of two kinds of arches. I don't think there is a definite place for them, just put them in the slots, except for the two slots by the damaged wall, because those slots are for the destroyed arches.
The pieces that make the arches
Destroyed arches: They are the small pieces on the arch frame - one broad piece that you'll glue to destroyed part of the wall, and a thin piece you need to put into the hole on the base. Pair and glue them together, with the etched sides outside.
Large columns: These come in two layers of two U pieces that slot into each other to create a large column. The laser etched sides are on the outside, glue them accordingly. They don't fit perfectly, so you might need filler to fill the gaps, but try to avoid getting the filler into the laser etched details. At the bottom of the columns there are some horizontal pegs that will help it stand when you insert the bottom into the base.

Small columns: They come in three pieces. One large U piece, smaller but similar to the large colums, and two small pieces, that you have to pair and glue to the larger piece. You will find four of the pairs are unlike the others, put them aside, those will be parts of the corner pieces. Leave another four, those will also be parts of the corner pieces. The rest should be glued together with the etched side on the outside, and glued on the large pieces, with the etched sides outside. Two of them will be higher than the ruined walls, those might need some cutting for maximum effect.
Corner columns: They come in two pieces, that are very similar to the small column pieces. Using the pegs, create corner pieces with the etched side outside, and glue them that way. Insert them into the corners. Before you glue them together, insert every piece into place, because it's easy to mix up the parts.

Removable inside: If you don't glue the inside pieces (insert, columns) on the base, you can remove them, so you can store it easier, or you can change the inside. However, I recommend to glue the whole thing together, as I don't think it was designed with this in mind.
